About Dr Lori
Dr. Lori Boul has over 20 years of experience as a psychologist and sex therapist. She currently divides her time between writing, her private therapy practice, lecturing for the Open University and public speaking engagements.
Dr Lori is probably one of the most outspoken speakers on the topic of human sexuality and, in writing DIY Sex and Relationship Therapy, has dared to challenge the need for face-to-face therapy. According to Dr Lori, "Good sex and relationship therapists can be hard to find and for many people personal therapy is just too expensive". In this self-help book, readers are provided with practical approaches that replicate the techniques and exercises used by therapists, together with some novel ideas for putting the fun and romance back into any relationship".
Whether speaking to adolescents, adults, educators or health care professionals, Dr Lori's expertise, sensitivity and humour inspire new ways of thinking about sexuality and sexual health. She has presented talks at national and international conferences, provides training courses for health professionals and is featured as a regular guest speaker with Cunard.
